SYMPTOMS

Windows 95 may detect your Matsushita CD-ROM drive as a "Matshita" CD-ROM drive.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Matsushita CD-ROM drive returns the string "Matshita" as its device description when it is queried by the Windows 95 device enumerator.

RESOLUTION

Please contact Matsushita Corporation for more information about this issue.
