SYMPTOMSThe Volume Control tool may not be available after you install Windows 95.
CAUSETools such as Volume Control are installed based on the hardware detected during the installation of Windows 95. If the computer contains an ISA Plug and Play device that is not turned on by the BIOS, the device is not detected until after Windows 95 is installed.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:
