SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to open Control Panel, an invalid page fault may occur in Kernel32.dll.
CAUSEThis behavior can occur if a Control Panel extension (.cpl) file is damaged.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, determine which .cpl file is damaged, remove the file, and then reinstall it. To do so, follow these steps:
