SUMMARY

The Windows 95 Resource Kit CD-ROM includes the following programs:

  • Animated Cursor Editor
  • Image Editor

You can use these programs to create cursors, animated cursors, bitmaps and icons.

To install the Animated Cursor Editor and Image Editor programs, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the Windows 95 Resource Kit CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

  2. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Add/Remove Programs.

  3. Click the Windows Setup tab, and then click Have Disk.

  4. In the Copy Manufacturer's Files From box, type the following line, and then press ENTER

          <drive>:
    

    where <drive> is the drive letter assigned to your CD-ROM drive.

  5. Click the "Animated Cursor Editor and Image Editor" check box to select it, and then click Install.

  6. Click OK, and then close Control Panel.
