SYMPTOMSUsing the early release disks and CD-ROMs for Corel40, you cannot install CorelDRAW if the following is true:
CAUSEThe Setup program on certain Corel40 disks and CD-ROMs contains a defect.
RESOLUTIONUsing the WinDisk utility, create an extended partition and assign the next available drive letter to it (in the example above, E). Setup programs on disks and CD-ROMs dated after 7/20/93 should no longer contain this defect. CorelDRAW is manufactured by Corel Corporation, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
