SYMPTOMSUnder Windows NT, Adobe Type Manager (ATM) fonts embedded in a file may cause 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 applications, such as Photoshop, to stop (crash) when attempting to load them.
Steps to Reproduce Problem
CAUSEBecause Adobe Type Manager does not currently work under Windows NT, ATM fonts embedded in a document may cause an application to crash.
RESOLUTIONRemove any embedded ATM fonts from the file or document using the 16-bit Windows 3.0 or 3.1 application or an application that can remove the fonts. The products included here are manufactured by vendors independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding these products' performance or reliability.
