SYMPTOMSA loop variable in the NCR miniport driver is defined as UCHAR, but the value can go up to 256, which causes problems when trying to save and restore MS-DOS applications.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
