STOP Message 0x0000000A in NETFLX.SYS

SYMPTOMS

The following STOP message appears:

   **** STOP 0x0A(0x30,0x02,0xFC9416D1)
   Memory at reference IRQL2 for 0 access from 0xFC9416D1 - NETFLX.SYS

CAUSE

This is caused by a data reference through a NULL pointer. This happens only if a protocol is being sent data at the same time the protocol tries to close its link to the MAC driver.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest US Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server.
