Turkish Characters in Directory Name Hangs Windows NT

SYMPTOMS

When you create a long directory name in File Manager using Turkish characters (for example, by pasting characters from Charmap) and then try to open the directory a STOP Message appears and your computer stops responding (hangs).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.5. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.5.
