SYMPTOMSWhen you install additional drivers from the Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN) Winter CD-ROM, the following message may appear:
Please insert the disk labeled "Windows NT Setup CD-ROM disk" into: <drive>: CAUSEThis message appears even though the correct path to the installation files has been specified and the CD is in the drive. The MSDN Winter 1994 CD contains the installation files for Windows NT in the following directories:
<ROOT>\WINNT\USALL\ALPHA \DRVLIB \I386 \MIPSIn addition to those directories, the USALL directory also contains two files, SETUP.TXT and DISK2. DISK2 is the file that Setup uses to determine that it has the correct media. Setup expects DISK2 to be in the root directory of the drive the Windows NT installation files are on. If it does not find it there, it will not know it has the correct CD and continues to prompt for it.
