Printing Output is Always Directed to the Upper Output Tray

SYMPTOMS

You cannot print to your printer's lower output tray.

CAUSE

In Windows NT 3.1 and 3.5, the miniport driver does not have the option to change the location of output tray. The output tray is defaulted to the upper bin.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 3.1 and 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
