FileReadOperations/Sec in PerfMon Returns Bad Values

SYMPTOMS

Performance Monitor in Windows NT version 3.1 with U.S. Service Pack 2 installed sometimes returns bad values when you monitor SQL Server FileReadOperations/Sec.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem has been corrected in Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server version 3.5.
