BNC Problems with 3C507 and 3C509 NICs

SYMPTOMS

When you use the BNC connectors on a 3Com EtherLink 16 network adapter card, network services in Windows NT version 3.5 fails. When you use the AUI connectors, the problem does not occur.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
