SYMPTOMSWhen you install U.S. Service Pack 3 on a Windows NT 3.1 server or workstation, the Server Manager for Domains utility becomes unusable. The following error message appears when you attempt to run the Server Manager:
The procedure entry point NukeUsersSession__9LM_SRVRESSF4T could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library LMUICMN1.DLL.When you choose the OK button to clear that message, the following STOP message appears:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000139). Click on OK to terminate application.You can then see that this file exists in the SYSTEM32 directory.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
