SYMPTOMSAfter you upgrade from Windows NT version 3.1 to Windows NT version 3.5, the following message appears in Event Viewer:
Event ID: 8006 Source: SRV Type: Error Description: The browser has received an illegal datagram from the remote computer <computer name> to name <domain name> on transport Nbf_Elnk31. The data is the datagram. CAUSEThis problem occurs when an illegally formed Netlogon frame is received from the client computer. Windows NT version 3.5 correctly identifies the illegal frame and reports it in the System Log.
