Guest Account Deletes System Fonts

SYMPTOMS

User accounts that should not be able to make system-wide changes are able to remove fonts using the Windows NT Control Panel Fonts program.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, run Control Panel, choose Fonts, and reinstall the fonts.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
