SUMMARY

When running Windows NT on a DEC ALPHA AXP 150 (also known as a Jenson) computer or a DEC ALPHA APX 2000 or APX 2100 (also known as Sable) computers you should verify the version of the firmware to guarantee proper performance. These ALPHA models require different version numbers as follows:

   Model Recommended Firmware Version
   -------- ----------------------------------
   AXP 150 3.5-4 or later
AXP 2000 3.6-26 or later (3.7 is preferred)
AXP 2100 3.6-26 or later (3.7 is preferred)

NOTE: The firmware upgrade will require an EISA configuration utility (ECU) diskette in addition to the firmware upgrade.

For more information on recommended firmware revisions, installing firmware updates or to obtain updated firmware, contact DEC technical support.

The ALPHA AXP series of computers are manufactured by Digital Equipment Corporation, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
