Pasting in Write Closes All 16-bit Applications

SYMPTOMS

If you paste information in the Clipbook Viewer Local Clipbook and then paste the same information in Write, all 16-bit applications, including Write, close immediately.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, run Write in a separate memory space.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
