Err Msg: System Service Database Locked

SYMPTOMS

When you change the Scheduler service to start with a User Account on Windows NT version 3.5 using the Banyan Vines client service, the system may stop responding (hang). If you restart the computer, the following error message appears:

   System Service database locked

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
