OLE is Very Slow: Word for Windows NT and Excel for Windows NT

SYMPTOMS

An Excel for Windows NT spread sheet object embedded into a Word for Windows NT document causes very slow system responses while you edit.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
