The Proteon P1392 Token Ring network adapter is supported in Windows NT version 3.5. Although the P1392 network driver is included with the Windows NT Server version 3.5 CD, an updated P1392 network adapter driver is available and can be downloaded from Proteon's Bulletin Board Service (BBS) at (508) 366-7827. The file is called 39NT35.EXE and must be extracted with the -D switch as follows:

   39NT35.EXE -D

A WINNT35 directory is created on the destination disk, which includes the following files:

   OEMSETUP.INF
   P139XDLG.DLL
   PRORAPM.DWN
   PTONNT35.SYS

The P1392 network card is manufactured by Proteon, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this products' performance or reliability.
