IBM Thinkpad 720C Large Capacity Hard Disk Support

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install Windows NT on an IBM Thinkpad 720C computer with a large capacity hard disk (larger than 170 megabytes), the following error message appears:

   Setup did not find any hard disk in your computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
