The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you save or print a Windows NT Diagnostics (WINMSD.EXE) report that includes Hardware information, there may be two or more lines for System BIOS Version. The first line usually contains correct information, however the rest of the System BIOS Version lines have erroneous information. For example:

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
