SYMPTOMSBatch files using line feeds, instead of line feeds and carriage returns, stop executing prematurely with Windows NT version 3.51. The same batch files execute correctly with version 3.5. NOTE: Batch files with only line feeds are common in UNIX.
RESOLUTIONTo correct this problem, install the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.51.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.51.
