SP3 Localized SERVER.HLP (On-line Books) Causes Dr. Watson Error

SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows NT 3.51 Service Pack 3 on your MIPS or Power PC (PPC) computer, if you open the on-line books icon and point to a localized version (French, German, or Spanish) of SERVER.HLP or if you run the localized version of SERVER.HLP from WINHLP32.EXE, a Dr. Watson error occurs.

NOTE: Localized versions of SERVER.HLP work correctly on x86 (Intel) and ALPHA versions of Windows NT.

RESOLUTION

This problem has been corrected in the latest Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.51.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
