SYMPTOMSBy default Microsoft File and Print Services for NetWare (FPNW) uses 10,000 as the maximum number of NetWare clients. This can cause problems when using applications such as backup utilities and older MS-DOS applications.
RESOLUTIONThe maximum number of users that can be connected can be changed by making the following change in the registry: WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to reinstall Windows NT to correct them. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk.
