The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you are trying to open a file in a 16-bit program across a CSNW network connection, folders or file names may not appear in the dialog boxes.
CAUSE16-bit programs may not be able to discern the representation of long file names on NetWare servers. This commonly occurs when a program uses the Commdlg.dll that is provided with Windows NT 4.0 for dialog boxes.
RESOLUTIONTo access the documents, use one of the following methods:

This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 U.S. Service Pack.
