SPX Header Not Available for a Terminate Packet

SYMPTOMS

If a NetWare SPX Sockets application tries to read the SPX Header on a terminate packet while running Windows NT version 3.51, it will fail.

CAUSE

The Windows NT implementation of Sockets does not make the SPX Header available on a terminate packet.

STATUS

This problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
