SYMPTOMSDeleting the ARPA top domain in the cache on a Windows NT 4.0 Domain Name Service (DNS) causes a server Access Violation.
CAUSEThis error message occurs because of a problem in Dns.exe.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 U.S. Service Pack.
