SYMPTOMSWhen using a Help file in Windows NT 4.0, the Help file will randomly terminate with the following message:
The instruction at <address> referenced memory at <address>. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the application. CAUSEThe contents of the associated .cnt file have long strings that exceed the right border of the help topic.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
