Numpad Decimal Key Inputs a Decimal Instead of Comma

SYMPTOMS

Many European countries use the comma as a decimal point. If you are using one of the following European keyboard layouts on a computer running Windows NT version 4.0 with Service Pack 2 or earlier installed, pressing the period (.) on the numeric keypad key inserts a decimal point (.) instead of a comma (,).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem has been corrected in Service Pack 3 for Windows NT version 4.0. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
