The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you use Softway Systems OpenNT Commands and Utilities version 1.1 to execute a whole disk find, Windows NT may blue screen. For example, the following command may result in a blue screen:
$ find . -type f -exec grep -l "info" {} \; CAUSEThis problem occurs because Windows NT does not free the virtual memory correctly. This is not a problem with OpenNT Commands and Utilities.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
