The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSFull media access control drivers that work under Windows NT version 3.51 may display a blue screen with a Fatal System Error of 0x00000019 under Windows NT version 4.0 if the driver is allocating a large number of Map Registers while initializing. The parameters of the Fatal System Error may be:
STOP 0x00000019(0x00000001,0xFF0CC000,0x05000000,0x00000000) CAUSEThe system was trying to free a resource that had already been freed.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the service pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
