SYMPTOMSThe FTP service in Windows NT 3.51 may report the year incorrectly for files created on or after Jan 1, 2000. For example, January 1, 2000 is displayed as 01/01/100.
CAUSEThe FTP service in Windows NT 3.51 incorrectly formats directory displays as requested by FTP clients.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the following fix or wait for the next Windows NT service pack. This fix should have the following time stamp:
03/12/98 05:39p 51,376 ftpsvc.dll (Intel) 03/12/98 05:36p 75,536 ftpsvc.dll (Alpha) STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains this fix.
