Summary: With Windows NT, to access a network interface printer (a printer with its own network support [for example, Hewlett-Packard IIIsi printers have built-in network interface cards), you must install data link control (DLC) protocol support. Note: To obtain network address of a printer, start the printer self test. More information on the DLC protocol can be found in the Microsoft LAN Manager Resource Kit published by Technical Resource Group.
