The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYThe Mark Citation command in Word finds partial words if they match those used to indicate case names. For example, it will find any part of a word that matches "v.", "in re", "Ibid", "Sess.", or other abbreviations commonly found in citations. There is no way of searching for whole words only, as there is under the Edit Find command.
MORE INFORMATIONIn the following phrase, Word will find "In re" and "v.", even though they are not complete words:
In reviewing rev. number three...The Mark Citation command is found by clicking Index And Tables on the Insert menu, and then clicking the Table of Authorities tab.
