Some Macro Commands Unavailable in Protected Document

SYMPTOMS

Many macro commands are unavailable in a document or section that has been protected for forms or annotations. When a macro with a disabled command is run from within the protected document or section, an error message is displayed stating the command is unavailable and the macro is halted.

CAUSE

Most of the unavailable macro commands are associated with the menu items that are unavailable when a document is protected. Most of the macro commands disabled are Format, Insert, and Edit commands.
