Last reviewed: July 30, 1997
Article ID: Q107998
The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Word for Windows, version 6.0 6.0a

SYMPTOM

If the current selection contains the last paragraph mark in a document, the section number displayed on the status bar and the value returned by SelInfo(2) will be 1 instead of the actual section number. The status number will be correct for a flashing cursor position and selections that do not contain the last paragraph mark in the document.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows versions 6.0 and 6.0a. This problem was corrected in Word version 6.0 for the Macintosh.
