The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c, 6.0, 6.0a, 6.0c

SYMPTOMS

When annotation text is longer than one page, only one page of the annotation text prints if the Annotation Text style includes a frame.

CAUSE

By design, a frame cannot extend beyond one page, so if your Annotation Text style includes a frame, Word cannot print more than one page of your annotation text.

WORKAROUND

Remove the frame formatting from your Annotation Text style.
