SYMPTOMS

Word Assistant Setup will return the following error message if it does not detect installed TrueType fonts on the system:

Setup uses True Type, please enable the
True Type in Control Panel and restart Windows.

CAUSE

This message is misleading because it will be displayed whether Enable TrueType Fonts is selected or not. The error condition is whether or not TrueType fonts are available on the system.

WORKAROUND

Install at least one TrueType font on the system, and rerun Word Assistant Setup. Refer to the "Windows User's Guide" for more information on installing TrueType fonts.
