Note: If you use either of the following methods in a print merge main document, the Suppress Blank Line option does not work.

To position the text lower on the label

  1. From the Edit menu, choose Replace.

  2. In the Find What box, type "^p" (without the quotation marks), for paragraph mark.

  3. In the Replace With box, type "^l" (lowercase L, without the quotation marks), for newline mark.

  4. Choose the Replace All button.

  5. Choose the Close button.

  6. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.

  7. From the Format menu, choose Paragraph.

  8. Increase Line Spacing Before to the amount of empty space you want to appear before the first line of text on your label.

  9. Choose OK.

To position the text farther to the right on the label

  1. Follow steps 1-7 above to convert the paragraph marks to newline marks.

  2. Increase the Left Indentation the amount you want your label text moved to the right.

  3. Choose OK.
