SUMMARYWord 6.0 for Windows does not include separate color controls for the different screen elements in Word. You can, however, change the background color using either of the following workarounds. Method 1: To change the background to blue, do the following:
a. From the Tools menu, choose Options. b. Select the General tab. c. Select the "Blue Background, White Text" check box and choose the OK button.Method 2: Change the background color in the Microsoft Windows Control Panel by doing the following. Note: This change will affect all Windows applications, including Word for Windows. a. Switch to the Windows Program Manager and choose the Control Panel icon (usually, in the Main group). b. Choose the Color icon. c. Choose the Color Palette button. d. From the Screen Element list box, select Window Background. e. Select any color and choose the OK button. For example, choose the light gray color, which is two colors to the left of the default white color. Note: You can also change the Window Text color from the default black color. |
