Err Msg: File Access Denied Using ODBC

SYMPTOMS

If you try to insert data in a Word document from a database using ODBC as the conversion method, you may get the following error message:

   Stop: File Access Denied

(To insert data, use the Database command on the Insert menu or the Mail Merge feature.)

CAUSE

The database file may already open in another application.

RESOLUTION

Close the database file in the other application and re-execute the Insert Database or Open Data Source operation.
