SYMPTOMSInsertion point movement and cell selection may not behave as expected when a table containing a row that's split between pages is displayed in page layout view.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word 6.0 and 6.0a for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUNDTo return to expected behavior, display the document in normal view.
