Find File Columns Widths Not Saved Between Sessions of Word

The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 6.0, 6.0a

The column widths in the Find File dialog box are not saved between sessions of Word for Windows. Instead, the columns widths revert to the default settings each time you start Word.

You can customize the widths of the File Name, Size, Author, and Last Saved columns using the mouse. The custom column widths are used each time you access Find File during the current session of Word.
