How to Directly Format Bullet and Numbers

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 6.0, 6.0a

To apply direct formatting to the bullets and numbers you create using the Bullets and Numbering command on the Format menu, you must select and format the paragraph mark for the bulleted paragraph.

For example, if you want to enlarge the bullet, select the paragraph mark and change the font size.
