Custom Paper Sizes Do Not Print to NEC 1097 Printer

SYMPTOMS

Printing nonstandard (custom) paper sizes to the NEC 1097 printer will fail when the NEC 1097 printer is running in PostScript mode using the NC_10971.WPD printer driver.

STATUS

NEC has confirmed this to be a problem with the NC_10971.WPD printer driver.

WORKAROUND

Switch the printer to PCL mode and use the HP LaserJet III printer driver.
