SYMPTOMSWhen you double-click the Microsoft Word Setup Data file, the following error message appears:
The document "Microsoft Word Setup Data" could not be opened, because the application that created it could not be found. Do you want to open it using "TeachText"?NOTE: The Microsoft Word Setup Data file is located in the Setup folder, which is in the Word 6.0 for the Macintosh program folder.
CAUSEThe Microsoft Word Setup Data file is not designed to start Word Setup. This file only stores information that Word Setup uses. Setup creates the Microsoft Word Setup Data file if you perform a Complete/Custom or Typical installation of Word. You can modify this file before you run an administrative installation of Word on a network file server or shared directory. RESOLUTION To start Setup, double-click Microsoft Word Setup.
