Word Doesn't Print in Best Quality from ImageWriter

SYMPTOMS

When you print in Best Quality from an Apple ImageWriter from Word 6.0 for the Macintosh, the resulting output will actually be that of the Faster mode.

CAUSE

This is caused by a problem in Word that incorrectly passes the selected information in the Quality section of the Print dialog box to the driver.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word version 6.0 for the Macintosh. This problem was corrected in Word version 6.0.1 for the Macintosh.
