The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Word for the Macintosh dialog boxes, the default font (Geneva) is jagged instead of smooth.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when the Geneva font is not installed in your System folder. (In System 7.1 and later, it should be installed in the System Suitcase, in the System:Fonts folder.) This problem can also occur if the Geneva font is damaged.

MORE INFORMATIONThe following table lists the fonts and font sizes that are used in Word 6.0 for the Macintosh.
